The problem we address is teaching children to read in an age of coronavirus with schools shut down.
The Puzzli kit is a patent-pending and self-contained educational device that teaches children to read, write, and do maths with minimal adult intervention. Designed for children with special needs education due to its multi-sensorial aspect (touch, sound, and sight), it is an example of how design for the special needs education can also work for mainstream education. Any parent can have their child learn to read from home with our subcription: starting from age 3, you will receive a new piece of the kit, which arouses interest in your child all the way to literacy by age 7. The kit works in the following languages with local accents: English, French, Spanish, German, and Portuguese.
Note: due to the disruption in the global supply chain, we are focused on serving our existing customers. We aim to start taking new customers from November 2020. If you want to be the first to know, please add your contact information. If November 2020 is too late for you and you need help now, we have listed some similar initiatives.
Our vision is that children of all abilities and backgrounds discover the joy of learning and have fun in learning to read, to write, and to do maths.
Our mission is to empower children to become self-reliant, curious, and self-directed in their learning.
The big advantage is that our children can already identify letters and the correspondence of case. For example, they know that "i" and "j" come with dots. It has become much easier for them to learn to read.
